2. Hosting

This website is hosted on a self-managed server with a German infrastructure provider.

The web server collects access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page, referrer, browser/OS). These are used exclusively for technical troubleshooting and security. The sole recipient of this data is the hosting operator (own infrastructure, data center in Germany). Logs are automatically deleted after 14 days. No tracking takes place.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

3. Contact Form

When you use the contact form, the following data is collected:

• Email address
• Subject
• Message (free text)

Processing is carried out for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

The data is transmitted to ASQEN via email (SMTP via a German email provider) and is not stored in a database. The data is deleted when the purpose of storage no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

Providing your email address is required to respond to your inquiry. Without this information, the request cannot be processed.

4. Email Contact

When contacting ASQEN by email, the details including the contact data provided will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Providing your email address is required to respond to your inquiry. Without this information, the request cannot be processed.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

This website uses no cookies.

This website uses your browser's localStorage solely to store your color scheme preference (Dark/Light Mode), and only when you actively use the theme toggle. This setting never leaves your browser and is not transmitted. Without an active selection, your operating system default is used — no data is written to localStorage.

Legal basis: § 25(2)(2) TDDDG (technically strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested by the user).

6. Analytics and Tracking

This website uses no analytics tools, no tracking, and no external services for user analysis. No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or comparable services are used.

This website uses SSL encryption (HTTPS) for security purposes and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in the browser's address bar and the lock icon.
